Amplify, a leading medical and recreational dispensary in Ohio, needed to refresh its outdated loyalty app without losing its existing customer base. Their goal was to transition users to a more engaging mobile shopping experience, complete with seamless ordering and an enhanced post-purchase journey.

Digital Awesome designed and developed a brand-new mobile app tailored to Amplify’s branding, ensuring a cohesive online experience. Their website team even aligned the site’s aesthetic to match the app, creating a unified shopping experience.
By integrating with DutchiePlus, all Amplify retail locations were synchronized within the app, allowing customers to place orders on the go, leading to improved satisfaction and engagement. Existing customers who had the old app only needed to update it to access the new experience, ensuring a smooth transition without losing any users.
To drive app adoption, we collaborated with the Amplify team on a strategic onboarding campaign. They implemented an incentivized download program, offering low-cost merchandise in exchange for app downloads. Additionally, the app was aggressively promoted via their website, in-store signage, and direct customer outreach.
