Our team at Digital Awesome began the project by conducting extensive research into the cannabis market to identify opportunities and challenges faced by dispensaries like Cinder. They are celebrated for their generous points system and the highly popular bankable friends referral program. Our task was to translate these distinctive features into a mobile application that resonates with Lake Effect's vibrant brand and meets the needs of its devoted customers.

The focus was on creating a clean, user-friendly interface that allows effortless navigation and shopping. Recognizing the importance of Lake Effect's rewards and bonuses, we incorporated features like one-of-a-kind achievements, digital punchcards, and an array of rewards, all aimed at enhancing customer loyalty. The objective was clear: to turn every user into a lifelong customer by offering an unparalleled mobile shopping experience.

Through extensive research and adherence to Redi's brand identity, the team designed an app that seamlessly integrates with Dutchie (e-commerce) and AlpineIQ (loyalty rewards). This powerful combination allows for a gamified loyalty program with tiered achievements, taking customer engagement to a whole new level.

Sol Flower, a renowned cannabis dispensary with nine locations in Arizona, sought to enhance its customer experience and expand its digital footprint. To achieve this, they partnered with Digital Awesome to create a cutting-edge mobile app that would centralize their brand and give customers a seamless shopping journey.

Amplify, a leading medical and recreational dispensary in Ohio, needed to refresh its outdated loyalty app without losing its existing customer base. Their goal was to transition users to a more engaging mobile shopping experience, complete with seamless ordering and an enhanced post-purchase journey.

Digital Awesome designed and developed a brand-new mobile app tailored to Amplify’s branding, ensuring a cohesive online experience. Their website team even aligned the site’s aesthetic to match the app, creating a unified shopping experience. 

By integrating with DutchiePlus, all Amplify retail locations were synchronized within the app, allowing customers to place orders on the go, leading to improved satisfaction and engagement. Existing customers who had the old app only needed to update it to access the new experience, ensuring a smooth transition without losing any users.

To drive app adoption, we collaborated with the Amplify team on a strategic onboarding campaign. They implemented an incentivized download program, offering low-cost merchandise in exchange for app downloads. Additionally, the app was aggressively promoted via their website, in-store signage, and direct customer outreach.
