Redi Cannabis Mobile App

Redi approached Digital Awesome to develop a mobile app that strengthens their community presence and elevates the customer experience across 2 locations. Through extensive research and adherence to Redi's brand identity, the team designed an app that seamlessly integrates with Dutchie (e-commerce) and AlpineIQ (loyalty rewards). This powerful combination allows for a gamified loyalty program with tiered achievements, taking customer engagement to a whole new level.

Amplify, a leading medical and recreational dispensary in Ohio, needed to refresh its outdated loyalty app without losing its existing customer base. Their goal was to transition users to a more engaging mobile shopping experience, complete with seamless ordering and an enhanced post-purchase journey.

Digital Awesome designed and developed a brand-new mobile app tailored to Amplify’s branding, ensuring a cohesive online experience. Their website team even aligned the site’s aesthetic to match the app, creating a unified shopping experience. 

By integrating with DutchiePlus, all Amplify retail locations were synchronized within the app, allowing customers to place orders on the go, leading to improved satisfaction and engagement. Existing customers who had the old app only needed to update it to access the new experience, ensuring a smooth transition without losing any users.

To drive app adoption, we collaborated with the Amplify team on a strategic onboarding campaign. They implemented an incentivized download program, offering low-cost merchandise in exchange for app downloads. Additionally, the app was aggressively promoted via their website, in-store signage, and direct customer outreach.

We were looking to have a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience with built-in incentives to sign in and check out. We want it to feel consistent with our website branding so the experience is cohesive and on-brand. Mostly, we want it to be fun — an app people want to open daily.

BASK is a Massachusetts dispensary serving both medical and recreational cannabis customers across two locations. As the business grew, the team wanted to create a mobile experience that would strengthen customer engagement and make ordering easier for their audience.

Their goal was to build a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience that felt consistent with their existing digital presence while also giving customers a reason to open the app every day.

To bring this vision to life, BASK partnered with Digital Awesome to launch the BASK dispensary mobile app — a fully branded mobile platform designed to mirror the BASK website experience while introducing new incentives that encourage customers to sign in, browse products, and check out directly from their phones.

The app was designed to feel cohesive, on-brand, and engaging, while making the mobile ordering experience faster and more convenient for BASK cannabis customers.

Since launching the BASK mobile app, the dispensary has seen meaningful improvements in customer purchasing behavior and engagement.

Customers using the BASK dispensary mobile app are placing larger orders compared to both in-store purchases and website orders.

By creating a more convenient and engaging mobile shopping experience, BASK Massachusetts was able to drive stronger engagement and increase order size through their mobile platform.
